Above & Below.
This Photoshop image was for a project at Uni, where the theme was 'Above & Below'. We were told to do a photo montage/collage and create something visually stunning. Possibly the most bizarre thing I've ever worked on!

Lush.
Job applications are usually incredibly tedious and boring - not Lush though, they asked for a 'creative cover letter or piece of artwork' and this is what I came up with! Let's just hope I get the job.

Lamp & Ivy.
I wanted to do some more work with light and try out some gradient techniques on Photoshop - a nice lamp themed contrast piece! Drawn with fine liner graphic pen and digitally coloured in Photoshop.
Babushkas.
A friend of mine loves anything Babushka, so I did a little illustration for her!

Rose - Coloured Pencils.
I haven't used colouring pencils since I was in school, so I thought I'd get some practice in with a little rose - this is the result.

Bumblebees.
Another quick insect-based illustration. Bumblebees! I had a lot of fun with the bees - the background, not so much.

Butterfly Lady.
With all these flying insects buzzing around in this weather, I was inspired to do a couple of insect-based pieces. This is my butterfly lady.

Moroccan Lanterns.
Some colourful Moroccan lanterns to brighten up your day!
Drawn with fine liner graphic pen and digitally coloured on Photoshop.
Bat.
I saw a huge bat in the garden last night, so of course I had to draw one.
I did a lot of free hand shading on the computer with this one, which was definitely worth the end result.

Chinese Dragon.
I wanted to do something colourful!

Black Milk leggings.
Okay, so this isn't a post of one of my illustrations but I do want to share these amazing leggings I bought a few weeks back from Black Milk clothing in Australia. My parents told me I was crazy for spending £40 +£15 customs charge on a pair of leggings. But despite the parental 'hate', I urge everyone to buy a pair (or two, or three...) because they look amazing. They are such an amazing quality and the shine (oh, the shine), is beyond compare. At the very least, visit their website. You'll be glad you did.

Flies.
Illustration Friday - 'Surveillance'.
I thought flies would be quite a good concept, referring to the phrase; 'a fly on the wall'.
I also used a rounded scope to create a camera lens style.

Geometric Butterfly.
Practicing mixing geometric lines and images from realism. I decided the butterfly looked better as a silhouette without colour.

I drew a stargazing cyberpunk, just for fun - I want to improve how I draw dreadlocks.

Experimenting with mark making and line techniques. I was going to leave this uncoloured but couldn't resist a bit of colour!

Viking.
I've wanted to do a viking for a while - this is the result!

Sunshine.
During the one week of sunny weather in England, I was inspired to do a sunny drawing!
I used a gold and brown colour palette with bursts of colour in the jewels.
Drawn with fine liner graphic pen and digitally coloured in Gimp.
Garden Bugs.
Please excuse the awful quality of this image - watercolour painting of some garden bugs which I managed to SELL to someone (was honestly very chuffed with my sale).

Video Games.
Another house warming present for my best friend Tamsin, who is clearly obsessed with video games. From Tetris to Portal, Zelda to Pokemon, she loves 'em.
Drawn in fine liner graphic pen and digitally coloured in Photoshop.
Sweeties.
This was inspired by sweets, of course. I was having one of those days where I chose to draw something from my little book of ideas!
Drawn in fine liner graphic pen and digitally coloured in Photoshop.
Mermaid.
One of my earlier drawings - I worked at my dad's office in London for four weeks and often had nothing to do except doodle on scrap pieces of paper. This is the result, with a bit of time, love and colour!
Drawn in fine liner graphic pen and digitally coloured in Photoshop.
Lobster & Crab.
My sister hates sea creatures - lobsters in particular. So I draw her a lobster and a crab. There's a sign of sisterly love in there somewhere.

Anchor.
Happy Father's Day! This anchor was inspired by my dad's love of sailing and his Mercedes.
I even managed to get his initials in there! Made a lovely card in the end.
Drawn in fine liner graphic pen and digitally coloured in Photoshop.
Owl Lady.
I did a few house warming presents for my soon-to-be housemates! This is the Owl lady for my lovely friend Rhiannon. The theme was (obviously) owls and polkadots.
Drawn in fine liner graphic pen and digitally coloured in Photoshop.
Jellyfish.
Jellyfish are so pretty, so I drew some! Couldn't decide on orange, pink or purple, so I did one of each.
Drawn in fine liner graphic pen and digitally coloured in Photoshop.
Geometry.
I have a huge love of geometry, so this piece was so much fun to do! I kept the colour palette simple with greys and purples.
